On this movie, bought on e-bay, we can see things around the International DKW Trophy in Zandvoort, Holland in 1959. We see cars on their way to Zandvoort but also a lot of shots from Zandvoort itself like "Oliehandel Castien", the "watertoren", "de kerkstraat", "hotel Bouwes", "haringkar", "oberbayern" and people on the beach and taking a bath in the sea.
Around 4:36 we see the DKW-cars coming to the circuit. That was on the Jac. P. Thijsseweg. This road still exists but the circuit was changed due to the coming of a holiday-park. We can see that the drivers painting numbers on their cars and thing for the preparing of the race. We see the audience and the tribune full with people watching the race. At the end there is the text:
"Internationale DKW Trophy, Zandvoort, Holland, 1959" and
"DKW Sterrit, Zandvoort, Holland, 1959"

Archive.org is slowly turning into a mess...
Well, slowly I see that the original intention of archive.org is blowing away by all kinds of uploaders with complete crap about jihad, terrorists, rar-files, audio-files and other files which don't belong there. Together with some others we are trying to convince archive.org that the way how it works, is not working anymore.
So that is the reason I review every new upload. They work now on a new system which will become live at the end of the year. I will be probably one of the testers. i like blib-tv but dumping everything in the public domain movie section is wrong and I keep trying to do something about that. So don't be mad about me, I know now where it comes from and soon blip-tv cannot upload the way they do now.
Thanks anyway for the message,

Hey Filmcollectief Zandvoort
hey, thanks for being an Archive.org police person - for going around leaving reviews-
please take up your issue with Blip.TV, not with us!
blip offers a simple upload to archive.org - and doesn't make a discrimination as to whether the file is audio or video - so when I upload audio to blip it puts it in the vlogs section automatically. I can't control that, so basically, your reviews and comments are falling on the wrong eyes.'
maybe you can convince blip.tv that there should be a way to distinguish and select which files get uploaded to where on the archive.
enjoy your police duties. good to know you'll be watching!
